Job definition

We work very closely with each client to develop a complete understanding of their business. Together, we define the recruitment need and produce a detailed job description and a candidate specification. This information is then set out in a detailed Assignment Brief together with a summary of our client’s business. Once the Brief has been approved by the client it becomes the working document for the assignment.

Recruitment strategy

Once the job definition is complete. We prepare and agree with the client a recruitment strategy which will scope out where to advertise the position and the cost and what is needed to attract high quality candidates. The strategy can evolve as the assignment progresses to take into account minor changes to the brief that may arise.

Advertising and response handling

We design and draft the advertisement for client approval and then administer the placement of the advert within the chosen print or online media. Media and artwork fees are recharged to the client at cost. All the applications received are acknowledged by us. We then in strict confidence contact selected candidates and discuss the position to assess suitability and candidate interest. The best candidates are then formally interviewed against the Assignment Brief.
 

Motivation & assessment

At interview candidates are carefully assessed against the detailed requirements of the Assignment Brief. Particular attention is paid to assessing relevant experience and technical competence to undertake the role. We also assess, personality and potential team fit, career aspirations, and motivations are also discussed and carefully evaluated. Confidentiality is maintained until the candidate allows release of their identity and information to the client.

Candidate Presentation

At a review meeting we discuss in detail each candidate and agree the best candidates for interview with the client. A detailed Candidate Profile is then prepared for every candidate prior to interview.

Conclusion

Through out the recruitment process we regularly consult and report on progress. We provide advice and support through the sometimes difficult and sensitive process of negotiation and completion of the assignment.
